According to the latest news from Spanish newspaper AS, the transfer negotiations between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig for 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yann Diomande have been successfully concluded. According to AS, the base transfer fee is around €115 million, plus performance-related bonuses. Meanwhile, The Athletic and Sky Germany have previously reported figures of a fixed fee of €125 million with an additional €15 million in bonuses, for a total maximum of €140 million. Whichever figure is eventually agreed upon, it will comfortably surpass the €103 million fixed fee paid for Jude Bellingham in 2023, thus setting a new record for the highest transfer fee in Real Madrid's history.
